The tournament began on June 19, 2023 and was hosted at Harris County's E.C. Pate Park.

2023 9u Sandlot Final Standings and Scores

After a thrilling game, American LL advanced to the championship game beating Harris County LL 7 to 5. Northern LL cruised through pool play finishing 2-0 and stood by in the wings waiting on their eventual opponent. American came into the game with limited pitching after having played the earlier game but kept the things close throughout and tied it up leading into the fifth inning. Northern bested their opponent in the final inning and sealed their victory as the District 8 Sandlot Champions. Both teams will advance to the sectional tournament June 9th. 

Hosted by Pioneer Little League

Now in their third year, Pioneer Little League is set to host their annual invitational. This tournament was brought about to  recognize Mr. and Mrs. Nancy Chadwick for their 35+ years of service to the Columbus area youth. For their dedicated service to the community and volunteerism, last year the Mayor of Columbus issued a proclamation declaring June 5th to be recognized as "Chadwick day" in Columbus, GA. 

Minor All-star teams from across the District will come together in this five day tournament to declare a tournament champion and bragging rights until next year.
